You will recruit and develop store associates, oversee daily activities, ensure compliance, and drive customer service while maintaining asset protection. This hands-on role offers on-the-job training and opportunities to contribute to store performance and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and lift 30–50 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with laws and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement merchandising directions from corporate HQ.
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store.
