Job summary

Town Pump, Inc. is seeking a motivated Store Manager Trainee to join our team in a role designed to develop future leaders in store operations.

You will train with the store manager or co-manager to learn how the store operates, make supervisory decisions, and deliver excellent customer service. You will gain hands-on experience in managing expenses, inventory, pricing, and merchandising, while performing daily bookwork and basic store maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Learn supervisory decisions aligned with Town Pump standards, policies, and procedures.
• Understand controllable expenses, sales, margins, shortages, and promotions.
• Set a professional example in customer service and store operations.
• Act as store manager when the manager is unavailable.
• Complete daily bookwork recording employee, inventory, and sales data.
• Order, merchandise, inventory, pricing, stocking, display, and rotation.
• Perform basic store maintenance, banking, and light cleaning.
