Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens’ operations to lead full store operations across front-end and pharmacy.
• Under Store Manager direction, oversee the operation of a Walgreens store front-end and pharmacy.
• Shadow or assist Store Manager in leading store during the learning journey.
• Engage customers and patients, resolve complaints, and model customer service best practices.
• Monitor customer service trends, coach teammates, and pursue improvements in service metrics.
• Shadow Store Manager to gain supervision experience for opening/closing shifts and merchandising tasks.
• Learn to manage inventory, pricing, receiving, and access to security systems.
• Develop action plans to improve business results and collaborate with Store/Pharmacy managers.
