Compensation Pay Range
$15.50 - $21.50
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Assist store manager in areas of sales, appearance, and overall operations of store. Objective is to receive hands-on training preparing manager in training for a management position in another store or future location.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
    • Professional - All delivery and installer service specialists
    • Retail - All parts and merchandising specialists
  2. Responsible for supervising work performed by all team members assigned to store/HUB store. Work jointly with district manager and store manager in recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining, and discharging team members. Communicate all information from team weekly and monthly meetings to all team members.
  3. Train new team members. Handle performance evaluations and recommend pay increases.
  4. Assist in hiring by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews, evaluating candidates, and collaborating with management.
  5. Support store manager in safety compliance and training. Monitor safety expectations.
  6. Make sales calls with/without store manager. May have a schedule for weekly customer calls.
  7. Support store operations as assigned.
  8. Maintain delivery fleet records and ensure store cleanliness and organization at all times.
  9. Utilize electronic scheduling, clocking, and payroll systems.
  10. Manage key components of gross profit, monitor customer returns, review price matches and overrides, review productivity and KPI dashboards, and discuss monthly P&L with the store manager.
Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required:

  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Completion of Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program
  • Ability to quickly match numerical/alphabetical characters
  • Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and systems

Desired:

  • O’Reilly store and/or distribution center experience
  • Completed O’Reilly management training program
  • Advanced computer skills
  • ASE Certification
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired)
