The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) program is designed to develop future store leaders through a 16-week, self-paced, collaborative training experience. It includes virtual and hands-on learning, supported by your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Key skills for this role include:

  1. Effective verbal and written communication to lead your team.
  2. Customer care to ensure high service levels.
  3. Executing merchandising strategies to support sales growth.
  4. Managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Engaging actively with your leader during Key Learning Experiences.
  2. Supporting store management and leading in alignment with CVS values and policies.
  3. Engaging colleagues to support the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health.
  4. Willingness to accept promotion roles within the market or transfer to other CVS stores as needed.
  5. Adapting to varying work schedules based on business needs.

Minimum qualifications:

  1. High School diploma or GED (required).
  2. Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
  3. Retail management or CVS supervisory experience (preferred).
