Job summary

7-Eleven is seeking a Store Leader Trainee to join our Suffolk, VA team. You will help lead the store alongside the leadership group, oversee customer service, merchandising, and promotions, and use store data to drive improvements. Training to develop supervisory skills and store-level P&L understanding is provided.

A strong focus on safety, cash handling, and loyalty programs is expected. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED; experience in retail management is valued.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; not required with 1+ year retail management experience.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage cash handling and store operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees.
• Oversee merchandising and marketing programs.
• Use P&L and store reports to drive change.
• Manage cash handling, fuel transactions, and promote rewards loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment and compliance with procedures.
