Role Overview

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) job is a development-focused role designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. The program spans 16 weeks and includes virtual and hands-on learning experiences supported by a team of leaders including your District Leader, HR Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach.

Skills & Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing to support and lead your team.
• Perform customer care duties to ensure high service levels.
• Execute merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
• Manage store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

• Be willing to accept promotion roles within the market.
• Willingness to transfer and work flexible schedules based on business needs.
• High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant work experience considered.

• Pay Range: $18.50 - $26.25 per hour
