Insomnia Cookies is actively hiring for a full-time hourly Store Manager in Training (MIT) at our Broad Ripple, IN store located at 809 Broad Ripple Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46220. We are seeking hospitality-focused individuals looking to join our industry-leading, rapidly growing, nationally recognized company!

What will I do as a MIT with Insomnia Cookies?
  • Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present.
  • Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries.
  • Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff.
  • Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, and Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence.
  • Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling.
  • Hold staff accountable to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, company policies, etc.).
  • Ensure all team members provide excellent customer service and upselling.
Desired skills/experience:
  • At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail store
  • Experience conducting in-person interviews of hourly support staff
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Word, and our Applicant Tracking System
  • Ability to work a 4-5 day work week with 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun)
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
