Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a retail environment is advantageous.
• Ability to follow procedures and policies with accuracy.
• Strong numerical and mathematical aptitude for calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising following manager direction; utilize fixtures, pricing and signing.
• Assist in inventory management including damages, markdowns, scans and paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet or exceed in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Act as a role model by following company procedures and policies.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of all company funds and cashier accountability.
• Assist in maintaining clean, safe, and well-stocked stores.
• Operate store in the manager's absence and review business trends from statements.
