The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) job is a development-focused role designed to prepare you for a CVS Store Manager position. The SMIT program aims to enhance your career as a future store leader through a self-paced, collaborative training over 16 weeks, offering virtual and hands-on learning experiences. Support for your growth includes your District Leader, Human Resources Business Partner, Training Store Manager, and Store Manager coach. Key skills for this role include:

1. Effective verbal and written communication to support and lead your team.
2. Customer care duties to deliver high service levels.
3. Executing merchandising strategies to support store sales growth.
4. Managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability.

1. Actively engage with your leader during Key Learning Experiences to support your promotion path.
2. Support your store as a management team member, leading in alignment with CVS values and policies.

Note: Selection for the SMIT position does not guarantee promotion to Store Manager. Promotion depends on performance, openings, and other factors. Minimum qualifications include:

• High School diploma or GED (required)
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
• Retail management experience or CVS Supervisor experience
