Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations and a retail team in Jacksonville. You will drive sales initiatives, train associates, and ensure top‑notch guest service while maintaining store standards and inventory controls.

You will oversee scheduling, payroll, and adherence to policies, working to grow guest loyalty through knowledgeable product guidance and effective leadership.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or accredited bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, merchandising, or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in a multiunit capacity and drive sales performance.
• Provide best-in-class guest service, greet guests, respond to questions, and promote promotions.
• Promote omni-channel programs and ensure accurate POS transactions.
• Schedule staff, manage payroll, and monitor compliance with policies.
• Maintain store appearance, inventory control, and loss-prevention practices.
• Lead and train associates to meet company standards and guest needs.
