Job summary

The Sherwin-Williams Company is seeking a Store Manager in West Des Moines, IA to drive daily store operations, sales performance, and customer satisfaction. You will lead, coach, and develop store staff while managing merchandising, inventory, and safety programs.

Responsibilities include setting strategies to increase market share among paint contractors and retail customers, and ensuring timely reporting, compliance, and store standards. A bonus program and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role supervising others or leading teams.
• Must have at least one year of experience in a retail, sales, or customer service position.
• High School diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Develop business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability.
• Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to store employees.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build and maintain knowledge of all products to ensure effective customer recommendations.
• Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration and reporting.
• Manage employee training, development, performance and corrective actions.
• Respond to and resolve customer and/or employee complaints.
• Partner with Sales Reps to increase outside sales calls and market share.
