Job summary

United Ag & Turf is a John Deere Dealership seeking a Location Manager to drive business plan execution across sales, service and parts. You will lead a multi-department team, maintain strong customer relationships, and coordinate marketing activities at the location.

The role requires 5+ years in retail, comfort with Deere products, and strong leadership, analytics, and financial acumen to optimize store performance. On-site role with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a retail environment.
• 1+ additional years experience as a parts or service manager or in a sales role preferred.
• Familiar with John Deere and competitive products.
• Experience dealing with elevated customer issues.
• Ability to lead and motivate others.
• Knowledge of financial metrics, marketing experience and a solid understanding of sales, parts and service operations.
• Solid analytical, business planning, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Execute business plan and achieve financial goals for the location.
• Maintain positive customer relationships and resolve escalated issues.
• Ensure cross-department communications and lead staff meetings.
• Convey dealership values, vision, and mission at the store.
• Share best practices with other store managers.
• Support changes across departments as directed.
• Plan and execute marketing activities and events.
• Oversee maintenance, security and facility appearance.
• Represent the company in selling machinery and equipment.
• Contribute to hiring, development and coaching of staff.
• Maintain relationships with key John Deere personnel.
