Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations of a Walgreen store including the pharmacy, staffing, merchandising, and service delivery. You will drive sales, protect assets, and model a distinctive customer and patient experience.

You will supervise scheduling, training, performance management, and compliance with laws and company policies while ensuring a clean, well-organized store. Pharmacy duties may be performed as needed to support busy periods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience.
• Licensed pharmacy technician or pharmacy assistant as required by state law, with registration pursued within 12 months of start date.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervises store and pharmacy operations, shifts, and scheduling.
• Manages store money, registers, withdrawals, and bookkeeping.
• Plans merchandising and inventory control to avoid stockouts and oversell.
• Analyzes financial data and KPIs to increase sales and control costs.
• Leads hiring, training, performance management and coaching of team members.
• Ensures compliance with laws and Walgreens policies.
