As a full-time Store Manager, you are passionate about serving your community by providing the best shoe store experience for the whole family. You do this by challenging yourself and leading your store team to meet and exceed responsibilities related to Talent, Culture, and Operations. You are a people leader, taking pride in motivating your team to achieve sales targets and growth goals. You stay enthusiastic about the products and store presentation, staying up-to-date on trends and educating your team accordingly. What You’ll be Doing

• Inspire The Customer Connection: Foster a culture centered on customer relationships and operational excellence, developing internal talent through coaching and modeling selling behaviors.
• Lead Talent Discovery: Seek out and network with external talent, develop succession plans, and hire individuals passionate about creating top-notch customer experiences.
• Own Retail Operations: Manage daily store operations, from pricing to inventory, ensuring the store runs smoothly and standards are maintained.
• Leverage Insights to Deliver Results: Use business insights and observations to refine strategies, drive sales, and align operational efforts.
• Be the Architect of a Winning Culture: Promote diversity and inclusivity, maintain a positive mindset, and engage the team in ways that increase retention and performance.

Preferred Qualifications & Education

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 1-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in specialty retail.
• Ability to build effective relationships, lead, motivate, and train staff.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills and ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
