YOUR MISSION
- Responsible for ensuring the Store consistently achieves or exceeds sales, KPIs, and profitability goals through effective planning, expense control, sales, and service.
- Guarantee high standards of customer experience within the Store in accordance with PUMA's Brand Values and service standards.
- Spend 90% of working time on the sales floor engaging with consumers, selling, and coaching employees.
- Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager with recruitment, training, development, and succession of high-performing, results-driven Associates.
- Accountable for payroll control and service-driven scheduling to maintain profitability while providing excellent customer service.
- Manage Loss Prevention education and awareness programs and ensure operational compliance.
- Manage and meet or exceed Inventory and Shrink goals.
- Communicate merchandise opportunities to Store and/or Assistant Store Manager.
- Participate in new store openings and closings; travel may be required.
- Handle sales transactions accurately at the cash desk, including exchanges and refunds, adhering to policies and procedures.
- Maintain visual standards and ensure the store's visual presentation meets or exceeds PUMA standards.
- Maintain the physical condition of the Store and communicate maintenance needs promptly.
- Comply with all Policies & Procedures, operational core competencies, and key accountabilities.
- Ensure a safe and compliant working environment for all Store Associates and Customers.
- Work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, holidays; overtime may be required.
YOUR TALENT
- One to two years of management experience in a customer service-oriented retail environment, preferably apparel/footwear, with a results-driven track record.
- Proven ability to exceed sales goals, provide high levels of customer service, reason through complex issues, and communicate effectively.
- Ability to walk and move frequently, including standing, reaching, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 30 pounds, with the use of ladders or step stools as needed.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the sales and stock areas; operate foot controls and work at heights as necessary.
- Use of senses critical to the position: speaking, hearing, visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision.
- Critical cognitive skills include reading comprehension, basic math, writing, problem-solving, and computer skills.
The base pay for this position is $21.00-$25.00 per hour plus Bonus and Benefits. The pay may vary depending on knowledge, skills, and experience.
