Job summary

DSW is seeking a seasoned retail leader to elevate the customer experience and drive KPI performance across its stores. You will coach associates, communicate store strategies, and foster a growth mindset while aligning with company goals.

The role requires 4+ years of retail management, strong communication, and a talent-first approach, with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma is required; some college is preferred.

• Must have the ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing or walking around the store.
• Lifting, including the ability to lift- up to a maximum of 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl on a frequent basis.

Responsibilities

• Elevate the in-store experience by coaching associates toward store goals and KPI
• Deliver financial plans to drive KPI performance and adjust to shifts
• Foster recognition and accountability aligned to customer and business needs
• Resolve customer and associate feedback with urgency
• Plan and direct merchandise movement according to trends
• Communicate inventory recommendations to Market Leader
• Oversee store standards, maintenance and operations
• Create a cohesive talent strategy and lead by example
• Lead performance management and year-end reviews
• Recruit top talent and manage development
• Run store meetings and other duties as assigned
