Kohl’s is seeking a Store Manager to lead the entire store team, delivering an outstanding customer experience and driving sales and profitability through coaching, merchandising excellence, and rigorous store operations.

The role involves recruiting, training, and developing associates; managing payroll; monitoring KPIs; safeguarding inventory; and maintaining safety and policy standards to create a compelling store environment for customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience supervising 20+ associates and handling performance decisions.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven people management and talent development skills.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guide profitable sales and achieve store financial plans.
• Plan payroll and staffing based on store traffic.
• Recruit, hire, and manage store personnel.
• Oversee training on Kohl’s culture, product knowledge, and selling practices.
• Coach and develop associates; create succession plans.
• Ensure inventory accuracy and merchandise presentation.
• Prevent loss and enforce policies with Loss Prevention.
• Monitor KPIs to drive store performance.
• Maintain safety and compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate to deliver a compelling store experience for customers.
