Job summary

H&S Energy Group is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a retail team, and ensure top-tier customer service at our Vacaville location. You will manage staff, inventory, and cash handling while maintaining a safe, compliant environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of retail management experience, strong leadership, and proficiency with POS and back-office systems. A Food Safety Manager Certification or ability to obtain it is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a convenience store or fuel environment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Demonstrated experience in inventory control, merchandising, and cash handling.
• Food Safety Manager Certification (state-required) or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) and back-office systems (e.g., S2K, EPOS, time clock, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and deliver superior customer service.
• Maintain an engaging, visually appealing environment and product knowledge.
• Ensure staff is trained in safe food and beverage handling procedures.
• Monitor staffing and labor budgets; recruit and retain personnel as needed.
• Manage inventory, receiving, stocking, and discrepancies.
• Operate daily software and systems (S2K, EPOS, time clock).
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
