Job summary

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Store Manager to lead operations, motivate staff, and meet sales goals across a network of ARC stores. You will ensure a hospitable work environment, compliance with policies, and efficient store operations to support work therapy programs.

You will supervise staff, manage schedules and payroll, and coordinate with the Administrator to uphold safety and reporting standards while delivering strong customer service and community impact.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in sales is preferred.
• Ability to lead, manage and motivate others.
• Ability to read and interpret simple income and expense reports.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable DMV record.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in any store location under ARC supervision.

Responsibilities

• Create a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintain good customer relationships.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures by all store personnel.
• Meet sales, production, and expense goals to maintain profitability.
• Display merchandise properly and keep back room organized.
• Recruit and train staff, conduct evaluations, and schedule shifts.
• Oversee payroll information and attendance tracking.
• Order merchandise and manage rag out and colorization per calendar.
• Provide training and supervision for new and existing staff.
• Safeguard cash, complete daily sales reports, and coordinate with finance.
