Dollar General Corporation in Georgia is seeking a Store Manager Candidate to support the Store Manager in daily store operations, staffing, merchandising, inventory control and customer service. This role is designed to develop the external candidate toward the Store Manager position for a limited period.

You will assist with recruiting, inventory management, store opening/closing, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a safe, well-stocked store

Formación

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures including cashier accountability and deposit controls.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Familiar with store policies regarding security and safety.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and pricing according to guidelines.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management and control.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
