Oberweis Dairy in Wheeling Township, IL is seeking a high-energy Store Manager to lead our ice cream shop to success. You will be the right-hand hero to the District Manager, keeping operations smooth, customers happy, and the vibes as fun as our flavors.

The role requires weekend/evening availability, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to service and inventory. You’ll help create a fun, waffle-cone scented workplace and build lasting customer relationships while delivering top-notch

Qualifications

• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in food service or retail preferred.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and strong communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Weekend and evening availability required.

Responsabilités

• Lead, train, and motivate the scoop team and oversee product preparation, packaging, and cleaning duties.
• Deliver excellent customer service and create a welcoming store atmosphere.
• Manage shifts, schedules, and daily operations to meet targets.
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and stocked; monitor inventory to prevent shortages.
• Engage with customers and build positive community relations.

About the Role

We're looking for a high-energy, people-loving Store Manager to help lead our ice cream shop to sweet success! You'll be the right-hand hero to the District Manager, keeping operations smooth, customers happy, and the vibes as fun as our flavors.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading, training, and motivating our awesome scoop squad in very phase of product preparation, including product portioning, packaging, and cleaning duties

Delivering top-tier customer service (with extra sprinkles!)

Managing shifts, schedules, and daily operations

Keeping the shop sparkling clean and organized

Handling inventory and making sure we never run out of fan favorites

Jumping into scoop, serve, and celebrate with customers

Managing shifts and daily operations

Community relations and customer experience

What We're Looking For

Previous leadership or supervisory experience (food service a plus!)

Physical Requirements

Carry up to 50lbs

Stand and walk on a hard surface for 9-10 hours per day

Tolerate up to 35 minutes in a walk-in Freezer at temperature at -10 degrees F during inventory and stocking
