Store Manager and Automotive Technicians

Responsibilities:
Automotive Store Manager:
  • Lead and develop the store team to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Drive sales performance and increase product knowledge
  • Manage store operations, including staffing, scheduling, and inventory control
  • Oversee technical services and assist with repairs
  • Maintain store appearance and ensure compliance with policies and safety regulations
  • Build customer relationships and address their needs
  • Maintain technical proficiency through training

Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000 annually, plus additional incentives

Technician Responsibilities:
  • Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify repairs
  • Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle
  • Assist with inventory management and general store duties
  • Follow safety standards and procedures
  • Test drive vehicles according to policy and traffic laws
  • Maintain technical knowledge via Monro University training
  • Operate and maintain equipment safely
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Compensation for Technicians: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience, plus flat rate options

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Leadership experience in retail or sales environments
  • Ability to manage finances, results, and costs
  • Strong problem-solving and inventory skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Mentoring and team development skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand long periods, and perform shop movements

Additional preferred qualifications include automotive training, ASE certification, and State Inspection licenses. Ownership of basic tools or participation in Monro’s tool purchase program is required.
