Job description

Lead a high-energy Chatime location as the Cha-Legend, owning daily operations, sales performance, and the customer experience. You will inspire and develop T‑Ristas, manage inventory and finances, execute brand initiatives, and ensure every shift runs to Chatime standards. This role suits a hands‑on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail food environment and can split time across one or multiple locations as business needs require.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Operational leadership: Oversee all store activities to meet sales and customer service targets.
  • Team management: Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop T‑Ristas from introductory roles through leadership succession.
  • Scheduling & payroll: Create rosters, approve timesheets, manage payroll‑related tasks, and perform end‑of‑day reconciliation.
  • Inventory & purchasing: Conduct weekly and monthly stocktakes; place food and product orders; manage shrink reduction.
  • Financial controls: Handle cash management, weekly banking, POS operations, and basic bookkeeping.
  • Customer experience: Take customer orders over the counter, deliver service to Chatime standards, and resolve guest issues.
  • Product preparation: Prepare drinks, shake beverages, and cook pearls according to standard operating procedures.
  • Health, safety & compliance: Follow food safety requirements, complete daily and weekly self‑audits through Safety Culture, and maintain cleaning and sanitisation of utensils, surfaces, equipment, and floors.
  • Marketing & brand development: Lead and execute local and national marketing campaigns and drive local brand initiatives.
  • Training & learning: Ensure completion of e‑learning modules and develop team skills in sales and customer service.
  • Policy implementation: Enforce company policies, safe work and manual handling processes, and store procedures.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum experience: 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Industry fit: Food and beverage or retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Leadership skills: Proven ability to set goals, coach teams, and drive performance.
  • Hiring experience: Demonstrated experience in recruiting, interviewing, and developing staff.
  • Operational skills: Familiarity with inventory control, POS systems, cash handling, and basic financial reconciliation.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills; multilingual or bilingual candidates are highly desirable.
  • Personal attributes: Energetic, customer‑focused, organized, and able to thrive under pressure.
Working Conditions & Expectations
  • May be required to work across one or multiple locations and divide time to meet operational needs.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required by store hours.
  • Physically able to perform manual tasks including lifting, standing for long periods, and following manual handling guidelines.
