General Function

The Store Manager contributes to Oakley's success by leading a team to create and maintain the Oakley Experience for customers. Responsibilities include supervising staff, making staffing decisions, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing financial performance, and maintaining brand integrity.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate professionalism.
  • Achieve sales performance targets.
  • Recruit and hire top talent.
  • Provide ongoing training, feedback, and set performance goals.
  • Manage daily store operations to maximize sales.
  • Maintain visual standards, including merchandise presentation and store maintenance.
  • Review operational reports to ensure policy adherence and monitor profitability.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and paperwork.
  • Ensure staff compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Resolve issues affecting service, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Assist with staff responsibilities as needed.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years retail sales experience in a specialty environment.
  • 1+ years retail management experience.
  • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to train staff and develop relationships.
  • Physical ability to be on feet most of the day, lift up to 40 lbs, and perform physical activities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Oakley products.
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, sports-minded.
  • Bilingual skills.
