Job summary

Steinhafels Furniture is seeking a Store Manager to lead one of our Wisconsin retail locations. The role focuses on building a high-performing sales team, coaching staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience on the floor and during the sales process.

You will hire, train, and develop your team, oversee store operations, and participate in management meetings while maintaining Steinhafels’ strong culture and work-life balance. Weekend availability required.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store ensuring every detail has been accomplished.
• Keep the sales floor maintained with well trained Sales Associates who uphold our standards.
• Handle sales conflicts in a timely manner with the goal to resolve.
• Handle all disciplinary actions as set by the company guidelines.
• Observe sales staff to better coach a successful staff.
• Pre-hiring surveys, interviewing, and hiring to meet staffing requirements.
• Direct the staff in setup of new sales events.
• Take part in the training of new sales associates.
• Participates in management meetings.
• Requires punctuality and regular attendance.
• All other duties as assigned.

Our Store Managers play a critical role in the success of the store by hiring, training, coaching, and developing a strong sales team. They maintain a strong presence on the sales floor, supporting their team throughout the sales process and stepping in when needed to help overcome obstacles, close sales, and ensure every customer receives an exceptional experience.
