Job Title: Store Manager at Walgreens

Job Objectives: Manages the operation of a Walgreens store, including improving sales, profitability, and store image through merchandising, asset protection, team development, and delivering excellent customer and patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Experience: Monitor and enhance customer service, greet customers, resolve complaints, and model service best practices.
  2. Operations: Supervise store and pharmacy operations, manage finances, merchandising, inventory, store cleanliness, safety, and compliance with laws.
  3. Daily Planning and Business Performance: Assign daily tasks, analyze financial data, develop action plans to increase sales and reduce losses.
  4. Business Planning: Identify sales opportunities, manage inventory levels.
  5. People and Performance Management: Manage team performance, hiring, training, coaching, and employee relations.
  6. Training and Development: Participate in training programs, pursue necessary certifications, and engage in self-development.
  7. Communications: Act as liaison with district and corporate, conduct community outreach, and participate in community events.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years retail management experience; pharmacy technician license or equivalent; willingness to work flexible hours.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, PTCB or ExCPT certification, pharmacy license, management experience.
