Description

Position Summary: The store manager is responsible for the successful operation of the store, including achieving sales and profit goals, supervising sales staff, and managing functions such as purchasing, budgeting, and personnel management.

Essential Functions
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries and complaints.
  • Monitor sales activities and ensure quality service and goods.
  • Assign duties to employees and supervise sales, inventory, and cash handling.
  • Manage inventory, keep purchase and sales records, and enforce safety rules.
  • Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and discipline staff as needed.
  • Ensure staff understands and follows company policies.
  • Evaluate performance and implement corrective actions.
  • Train staff on sales techniques and customer service.
  • Lead by example to achieve sales and profit targets.
  • Check product pricing, display, and functionality.
  • Develop work schedules, record keeping, and report sales data to the corporate office.
  • Stay informed about local competition and develop strategies to increase sales.
  • Control store expenses, manage budgets, and process payments and returns.
  • Supervise store opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and proper equipment functioning.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, and bending. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently. Work in grocery and office environments, adhering to safety standards.
