A leading company in the rent-to-own sector is seeking a Store Manager to oversee operations, manage staff, and ensure profitability. The ideal candidate will have management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle various operational challenges. Responsibilities include managing inventory, customer orders, and staff training. This role requires effective leadership and a commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service.
Responsible for ensuring the store makes a profit by controlling monies, inventories, and safeguarding the company's assets. Ensures all funds are deposited daily, researches and reconciles shortages, and assists in recruiting, hiring, supervising, and training store personnel. Also assists with customer orders, verifies references, and seeks additional business opportunities.
Work involves changing environments, extensive walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting. May require additional hours and travel. Must handle stress and use equipment like hand trucks. Work settings include store, field, and customer homes, often in challenging conditions.
Attending training sessions may be necessary.
Frequent contact with customers, staff, and management; occasional contact with external partners. Effective communication skills are essential.
