Essential Duties

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following essential job duties, responsibilities and requirements:

1. Leadership and Management: Supervise 2 or more full-time employees, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and managing staff to ensure excellent customer service and store standards.
2. Store Relationships: Develop positive relationships with suppliers, promote service excellence, and maintain a safe, positive community image.
3. Training and Development: Conduct performance appraisals, ensure employee training on customer service, safety, and cash handling, and promote ongoing development.
4. Communications: Ensure timely communication with staff and management through meetings and updates.
5. Organizing and Planning: Develop action plans, manage store files, and oversee accurate report completion and merchandise presentation.
6. Financial: Analyze sales and expenses, manage budgets, and safeguard financial assets, reporting discrepancies promptly.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years retail experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise, train, and operate store equipment.
• Proficient in computer use for report analysis, inventory, and cash control.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Open availability and effective communication skills in English.
• Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting, standing, and working in various environments.
• Food Safety Management certification may be required.

Physical and Work Environment

Must be able to work 50+ hours weekly, perform physical activities like lifting up to 50 pounds, work in extreme temperatures, and handle outdoor conditions. The role involves indoor and outdoor work, including cleaning and stocking.
