Job description

The Role

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Studio manager to lead our San Francisco space — a hybrid brand showroom, retail space and workplace.

This role sits at the intersection of brand experience, community and workplace management. You’ll ensure the space runs flawlessly day-to-day while delivering a premium, design-forward environment for customers, fans, partners, and guests.

You are equal parts local ambassador and host — someone who obsesses in building local community, thrives in fast-paced environments, and understands that physical spaces are an extension of the brand.

Responsibilities
Showroom & Brand Experience
  • Oversee showroom presentation, product displays, and launch setups.
  • Partner with marketing and retail teams to execute product launches, community moments, and press events.
  • Act as on-site point of contact for partners, press, and VIP guests.
  • Conduct routine outreach effort in San Francisco community and host brand events to elevate Nothing’s local exposure.
Site Operations & Facilities
  • Own daily site operations, including opening/closing procedures, vendor coordination, supplies, and maintenance.
  • Manage facilities partners (cleaning, security, repairs, utilities, etc.).
  • Oversee space readiness, safety compliance, and workplace standards.
  • Manage site budget, invoices, and reporting.
Workplace Experience
  • Create a welcoming, high-energy workplace experience for employees and visitors.
  • Support internal events, team offsites, and leadership visits.
  • Ensure the space reflects brand standards at all times — visually, culturally, operationally.
People & Coordination
  • Coordinate contractors, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders (Retail, Marketing, People, Ops).
  • Support onboarding logistics for new hires based in SF.
  • Build playbooks and processes that scale as we grow.
Requirements
  • A fan of the Nothing; a technology early adopter; passionate to represent the brand in San Francisco.
  • 5+ years of experience in studio management, workplace operations, hospitality, retail management, showroom management, or similar.
  • Experience managing a physical space end-to-end (office, retail, studio, or event space).
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Confident communicator who can represent the brand in person.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings/weekends for launches or events.
Nice to Have
  • Experience opening or building out new spaces.
  • Background in premium retail, design-led brands, or hospitality.
  • Strong eye for design, culture, and contemporary creative movements.

We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment. We strive to create a workplace where everyone feels welcome and empowered to do their best work.
