Job summary

Staples in Salisbury, NC is seeking a General Manager to lead a collaborative, inclusive retail culture that serves customers and the small business community. You will drive sales, merchandise, print & marketing services, and the B2B network through strong team development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 1+ year progressively responsible store management experience in retail as General/Store Manager
• Store Operations experience with analysis, planning, financial acumen and driving results
• Experience creating a customer-centric environment with consultative selling
• Experience developing a team in operational excellence to drive YOY sales and margins
• Ability to lift/move materials in 10-50 pounds, climb ladders, stand and walk

Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership in community, customer service, sales, and team development
• Lead merchandise sales, print & marketing services, and retail operations
• Drive profitable sales and margins while reducing variability and improving YoY performance
• Ensure flawless execution of operational excellence

Essential Skills And Experience
