Store Managers at Dollar Tree are responsible for:

• Managing the profitable operation of a retail store, including recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store associates in operations and merchandising
• Performing all opening and closing procedures
• Implementing operational and merchandising directives from the Store Support Center
• Maintaining high standards of merchandising, signage, and display techniques to create an inviting atmosphere
• Maximizing your store's profit contribution
• Protecting company assets
• Providing excellent customer service
• Creative problem solving in areas such as associate development, sales maximization, expense control, merchandise display, and signage placement

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of retail management experience
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus
• Strong productivity management skills, especially in freight processing
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment
