Job Description

The Store Manager position is a salaried role responsible for providing daily leadership to all store positions, including General Service Technicians, Technicians, Guest Care Specialists, and Assistant Store Managers. Reporting to the District Manager, the Store Manager oversees daily operations, staff hiring, coaching, and development. This role supports Monro’s vision to be America’s leading auto and tire service center, trusted by guests for quality automotive service and tires by promoting products and services effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales and technical teammates to deliver a 5-star Guest experience.
• Achieve sales goals through sales plans, product knowledge, and industry understanding.
• Introduce tire and service products to maximize sales and guest satisfaction.
• Support teammates in sales environment and shop operations training.
• Manage staffing, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Control expenses related to payroll, store maintenance, supplies, utilities, etc.
• Manage inventory, including tires and parts stocking and pulling.
• Audit courtesy inspections and maintain store cleanliness to Monro standards.
• Schedule guest appointments and assign tasks based on skill levels for efficiency.
• Meet sales targets by informing and recommending products and promotions.
• Address guest needs, handle complaints, and build customer loyalty.
• Convey repair and service needs to guests effectively.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain technical proficiency through ongoing training.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely per guidelines.
