ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Store Manager is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned:

• Enables the store to effectively meet sales and profit goals, as well as changing customer demands. Promotes cross merchandising between departments and executes weekly and seasonal display changeovers while maintaining price accuracy.
• Communicates effectively with customers and store associates. Focuses on continuously improving programs and methods to enhance the customer experience. Motivates associates by improving morale, teamwork, and engagement. Empowers associates to resolve customer issues promptly and professionally. Conducts daily associate huddles and weekly management meetings to discuss information, priorities, goals, accomplishments, directives, and changes.
• Maintains all aspects of store conditions, presentation, and appearance. Ensures adequate product varieties and quantities to meet customer demand while ensuring freshness and minimizing shrink. Controls and organizes backroom inventory to allow for maximum efficiency and productivity.

• Enhances community relations by involving the store in local events and organizations.
