Bassett Home Furnishings is seeking an energetic, experienced Retail Store Manager for placement in Huntsville, AL.

We believe the relationship between our Sales Associates and our customers is paramount to our success. This philosophy begins and ends with our Store Managers. They are self-motivated, enthusiastic, positive, and detail-oriented individuals with a passion for DRIVING SALES by leading and coaching their teams.

Bassett store managers are responsible for managing the daily operations of the store and achieving monthly sales and gross profit goals. They set the tone in the store by creating a welcoming and creative environment that makes customers and associates feel comfortable. They are also responsible for recruiting and motivating a performance-driven sales team.

Compensation for Bassett Store Managers is based on an annual salary, with additional monthly bonus opportunities.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Associate’s (2-year) degree in business administration
2. Minimum 3 years retail experience, preferably in home furnishings
3. Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team
4. Ability to read and interpret profit and loss statements
5. Willingness to work most weekends and holidays
