Murphy USA Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive a best-in-class customer experience, and manage a fast-paced retail environment in Houston, TX. You will coach your team, optimize store performance, and implement company initiatives to meet district goals.

Eligible candidates have a bachelor’s degree or relevant retail management experience, with a valid driver’s license and open availability. Our benefits package supports growth and a diverse, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age (varying by state)
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Open availability is required
• Must have at least one of: a Bachelor’s Degree; one year of continuous store/retail management experience; or two years of continuous Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor experience.

• Maintain an proactive operational excellence mindset to manage expenses, drive sales, promotions, inventory and schedule shifts
• Support rollout of company initiatives and achieve store-level and district goals

• Stock, clean, operate cash register and perform additional duties as needed

Responsibilities

• Hiring, training and developing your team to grow with us assume the role of a coach and mentor to your team, guiding them toward success and development
• Maintaining a proactive operational excellence mindset to efficiently manage operation expenses, drive sales growth and promotional activities, manage product orders and inventory, schedule shifts, conduct surveys and continuously strive to exceed company metrics
• Supporting rollouts of company initiatives and reaching store-level and district goals
• Helping your team by demonstrating best-in-class customer service when assisting customers
• Stocking, cleaning, working the cash register and any other additional duties, as needed

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in Alabama, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Mississippi, New Mexico, Tennessee, and Utah
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Open availability
• Must have at least ONE of the following:
• oBachelor s Degree
• oOne year of continuous store or retail management experience
• oTwo years of continuous Assistant Store Manager or Supervisor experience
