Location: Northern Tier BU - Region 02 - Market 09: 1970 32nd Ave. S., Grand Forks, North Dakota 58201.

Availability: Full time, Day Shift, All Days.

Essential Duties

The position includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

• Leadership and Management: Supervise 2 or more employees, including recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and managing store operations to ensure excellent customer service and store presentation.
• Store Relationships: Develop positive relationships with suppliers, handle customer complaints professionally, and promote a safe, positive community image.
• Training and Development: Conduct performance appraisals, train employees on customer service, safety, and cash handling, and ensure timely completion of training programs.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with staff and management through meetings and updates.
• Organizing and Planning: Develop action plans, manage store files, and ensure accurate reporting and merchandising.
• Financial Management: Analyze sales and expenses, manage budgets, safeguard cash, and report discrepancies to the District Manager.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, with 1-2 years retail experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise staff and operate store equipment.
• Proficiency with computers for report analysis and inventory control.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Open availability and strong communication skills in English.
• Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and working in varied environments.
• Certificates such as ServSafe or Food Safety Management may be required.

Physical and Work Environment

Requires working at least 50 hours per week, exposure to temperature extremes, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working indoors and outdoors. The role involves standing for long periods, climbing ladders, and occasional noise exposure.
