Responsibilities

• Manage the profitable operation of the store, including recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff in operations and merchandising
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Implement operational and merchandising directives from the Store Support Center
• Maintain high standards of merchandising, signage, and store display to create an inviting environment
• Maximize store profit contribution
• Protect company assets
• Provide excellent customer service
• Engage in creative problem solving in areas such as associate development, sales maximization, expense control, and merchandise display

Minimum Requirements

• At least 3 years of retail management experience
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience is a plus
• Strong skills in freight processing and productivity management
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment
