Job Description

The Store Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including sales, customer service, staffing, employee relations, payroll, expenses, loss prevention, and merchandising. Store Managers use standard procedures and tools to guide and motivate the team, communicate updates, and ensure smooth operations. The role involves organizing, delegating, prioritizing, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a 'store game day ready' environment.

Responsibilities

• Staffing: recruiting, scheduling, leading others
• Customer Service: ensuring customer satisfaction is the top priority
• Delivery Results: sales forecasting, inventory control, payroll management
• Merchandising: maintaining visual standards, floor moves, organizing, and executing merchandising plans

Skills and Knowledge

Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, effective communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiastic attitude, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, strong merchandising and visual skills.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of retail experience, at least 2 years in store management and coaching, associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, sports enthusiast preferred.

Physical requirements include standing, walking, talking, hearing, using hands, reaching, differentiating colors, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Ability to work around equipment and ladders is also required.

Compensation: $20.00 - $28.00 hourly
