Job summary

Scooter's Coffee at Freedom Enterprises is seeking a Store Manager in Chanute, KS to lead daily operations, hire and coach a great team, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You will drive sales, maintain brand standards, and foster a fun, high-energy work environment. This role requires 18+ and at least 2+ years of leadership in coffee/quick-service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 40 hours per week minimum, flexible availability.
• 2+ years leadership experience in coffee/quick-service.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day store operations: scheduling, inventory, team performance.
• Hire, train, and coach baristas to be fast and friendly.
• Create a welcoming, high-energy environment for customers and staff.
• Own customer experience and ensure top-notch beverages and interactions.
• Drive store sales and hit performance goals through smart decisions.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and up to brand standards.
• Jump in wherever needed, from drinks to scheduling puzzles.

Job Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Flexible availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• 2+ year previous of leadership experience in a similar setting, such as coffee or quick-service restaurant.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading the day-to-day operations of your store - managing schedules, inventory, and team performance
• Hiring, training, and coaching your team of baristas to be the friendliest, fastest crew in town
• Creating a welcoming, high-energy environment where both customers and team members feel valued
• Owning the customer experience and ensuring every drink, smile, and interaction is top-notch
• Driving store sales and hitting performance goals through smart decisions and an eye for opportunity
• Keeping the store clean, organized, and up to brand standards
• Jumping in wherever needed - whether it’s whipping up lattes or solving a scheduling puzzle on the fly
