Job description

As a Store Manager, you will empower your team to achieve outstanding operational results while delivering excellent customer service. Pittsburgh Paints Company is hiring a motivated Store Manager. You will report to the Operations Manager and work on-site 100% of the time in Brockton, MA.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Achieve sales and profit goals by controlling expenses, working capital, inventory, shrinkage, and growing net contribution.
2. Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained.
3. Resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently.
4. Maintain high associate engagement through leadership, training, mentoring, motivation, and issue resolution.
5. Understand the local market, operations-based selling, and customer base.
6. Maintain the store's exterior and interior appearance, including merchandising displays, to required standards.

Qualifications:

1. High School diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of retail store experience.
2. Knowledge of paint and sundries is advantageous.
3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
4. Flexible working hours, minimum 45 hours per week; valid driver's license required.
5. Ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally and 40-60 pounds regularly.
6. Consent to background checks, drug screening, and motor vehicle record checks.
