Store Manager:

Vapor’s Thrift Store location manager will focus on boosting revenue and profitability, aiming to enhance profit generation for the ministry.

Qualifications:

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills; possess strong sense of order, structure, and systemization; demonstrate capabilities as a leader, in delegation, driving effective teamwork, and motivation.
• Have demonstrated ability to think strategically and make decisions based on perceived value creation.

Time and Travel Requirements:

Minimum 40 in-store hours per week. Intermittent travel to Vapor HQ and other locations, with infrequent international trips as an assistant leader.

Position Duties:

• Identify and interview new candidates with HR assistance, make hiring decisions, and determine when terminations are necessary.
• Develop and promote potential leaders into Mid-Level Manager/Assistant Store Manager roles.
• Maintain a positive work environment aligned with the mission, resolve conflicts, and help team members see value in their work.
• Delegate responsibilities effectively and identify policy gaps for resolution with relevant teams.
• Ensure effective donation processing, quality merchandise stock, and an exceptional customer experience.
• Support promotional activities and community awareness efforts.
• Source talent internally, engage team members, conduct feedback sessions, and predict future staffing needs.
