Summary

Manages overall daily operations of a service center in accordance with Allied Lube & Jiffy Lube Policy and Procedures, to ensure optimum performance, inventory, cash, and labor control, and to maximize profitability. Also, to ensure the image of service center and its employees is maintained, while exceeding our customer's expectations and protecting company assets.

Duties And Responsibilities Include

The Store Manager will recruit, hire, train and supervise quality employees to exceed our customer's expectations and develop employees, to aid them in seeking additional opportunities, within Allied Lube. In addition, the Store Manager will perform these same duties.

General
  • Complete all required computer-based training and other on-the-job training including Store Manager training, enforce attendance, safety, uniform, and various additional company policies, attend and/or conduct store safety and policy meetings.
Curbside Marketing
  • Hold advertising signs, pass out flyers and/or engage in any other form of curbside marketing outside of the store location, to safely and enthusiastically attract additional guests.
State Inspection
  • Follow certification requirements, pass the state issued background check, attend state inspection training class, and perform vehicle safety and emissions inspections following all relevant regulations.
Store Manager Duties

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Customer Service: Interactions with customers, executing marketing and customer experience programs, investigating and resolving customer complaints or warranties.
  • Manage Customer Flow: Floor control to optimize bay times, enforce JTSS standards.
  • Site Operations: Timely opening and closing of the store, managing deposits, maintaining building and equipment, managing staff schedules, providing leadership, and overseeing downtime activities.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct weekly audits, manage ordering and receiving, control inventory, and understand Cost of Goods Sold.
  • Employee Development: Ensure proper paperwork, staffing, training, recognition, and performance management.
  • Hsse: Wear PPE, provide safety leadership, and report incidents promptly.
  • Operational Effectiveness: Communicate performance expectations and results.
Store Administration & Management

Requires goal-oriented leadership, effective delegation, communication, and follow-up. Conduct monthly meetings, hold staff accountable, and discipline appropriately.

Certificates, Licenses, and Physical Demands

Must have a valid driver’s license. Physical requirements include standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, working in extreme temperatures, and working at a rapid pace.
