Position: Store Manager

Reports to: Market, Area, or District Manager

Summary: Responsible for the store's overall performance, including sales, staff recruitment and development, store appearance, expense control, and inventory management. May also oversee warehouse operations related to the store.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive sales and profitability while maintaining a visually appealing store.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed business goals.
  3. Maintain high customer service standards.
  4. Communicate effectively with staff and support teams, acting as a liaison with HR, Loss Prevention, Operations, and Merchandising.
  5. Represent the Tommy Hilfiger brand professionally.
  6. Ensure productivity, sales growth, staffing, and inventory targets are met.
  7. Demonstrate strong communication skills.
Operational Responsibilities
  1. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  2. Ensure store security and safety.
  3. Identify and resolve problems proactively.
  4. Manage controllable expenses, including payroll.
  5. Participate in mall/center management meetings.
  6. Build partnerships with mall, community, and corporate stakeholders to increase traffic and sales.
  7. Follow shipping, receiving, and inventory procedures.
  8. Maintain organized stockroom and implement inventory shrinkage programs.
Leadership Responsibilities
  1. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  2. Hire, train, motivate, and supervise staff aligned with brand standards.
  3. Develop staff knowledge in product, merchandising, and customer service.
  4. Supervise sales floor activities to ensure customer engagement.
  5. Lead by example and foster a respectful, professional environment.
Merchandising & Visual Presentation
  1. Oversee departmental performance and merchandising strategies.
  2. Analyze sales data to identify top and slow-moving items.
  3. Maintain stockroom organization and execute markdowns as needed.
  4. Ensure store cleanliness and proper fixture organization.
