Job summary

Rural King in Chambersburg, PA seeks a Maintenance Associate to keep the store clean, safe, and well-organized. You will perform routine cleaning, basic repairs, and upkeep of the store and surrounding areas, including floors, fixtures, and parking lots.

You will also assist with unloading trucks, stocking, and cross-training while supporting a welcoming customer experience and Rural King values of People First and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull 30 pounds repetitively and 31-50 pounds intermittently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and associates.
• Close vision required for computer-related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean store areas, restrooms, and surrounding areas; operate floor scrubber and restock supplies.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs, including changing light bulbs and minor plumbing issues.
• Identify and report safety hazards, maintenance needs, and malfunctioning equipment.
• Assist with unloading trucks, stocking, and other store activities as needed.
