Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors in Morristown, TN, seeks a Logistics Manager to lead the day-to-day store operations, focusing on inventory flow, safety, and execution excellence to deliver a seamless customer experience.

You will partner with store leadership, coach team members across Logistics, Merchandising, and Receiving, and translate corporate strategy into in-store results while balancing staffing, training, and payroll.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant leadership or management experience.
• Experience leading departments of up to 40 team members while driving operational excellence and achieving sales targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to develop people.
• Experience with inventory systems, order processing, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to complete and maintain required certifications, including Firearms Sales and Power Industrial Truck.
• Ability to audit firearm sales and ensure compliance with ATF forms and background checks.
• Team-first attitude; willing to step in wherever needed.
