Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking a Logistics Manager to drive the store's day-to-day operations, oversee logistics, merchandising, and receiving, and ensure seamless customer experiences. You will translate corporate strategy into in-store results and analyze performance to identify improvement opportunities.

You will balance staffing, scheduling, training, and payroll while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant leadership or management experience.
• Experience leading departments of up to 40 team members with sales targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to develop people.
• Ability to interpret operational and financial data; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive the day-to-day operational rhythm of the store to support a seamless customer experience.
• Lead logistics, merchandising, and receiving operations with focus on inventory flow, safety, and execution.
• Balance workforce planning, scheduling, training and payroll while upholding standards.
• Collaborate with Store Director and store leaders to translate strategy into store results.
• Support continuous improvement through audits, feedback, and action plans.
