Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking a Logistics Manager to drive the store's daily operational rhythm and lead logistics, merchandising, and receiving with a focus on inventory flow, safety, and execution excellence. You will analyze performance, implement improvements, and balance staffing, training, and payroll to support store profitability and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience leading departments up to 40 team members with sales targets.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to develop people.
• Ability to interpret operational and financial data.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience with inventory systems, order processing, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Certifications including Firearms Sales and Power Industrial Truck.
• Ability to complete ATF Form 4473, background check verification, and final approval.
• Team-first attitude; willingness to step in where needed.
