Job summary

Academy Sports + Outdoors is seeking a Logistics Manager to drive daily logistics, merchandising, and receiving operations, ensuring inventory accuracy and safe, efficient store performance.

You will analyze performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions while coordinating with store leadership and district partners. A bachelor’s degree and leadership experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
• 3+ years in a leadership/management role in retail or logistics.
• Experience leading 40+ team members and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day logistics, merchandising, and receiving operations with focus on inventory flow, safety, and execution excellence.
• Analyze operational performance and implement improvements to elevate productivity and efficiency.
• Balance workforce planning, scheduling, training, and payroll while upholding standards.
• Collaborate with Store Director and peers to align priorities with business goals.
